NOTE - This is a STOCK system feature of
the Jumble Saler STOCK and COMICS edition. You can test the stock
system them in the
Jumble Saler FREE edition, but you will not be able to publish your auctions
with them.
Adding or editing sets of products
If you have a lot of product records in Jumble Saler, then this
allows you to split into convenient categories. If selling DVD's then
the categories may be:
DVDs Sci-Fi
DVDs Kids
DVDs Comedies
Box Sets
and with items like comics, these will be different types such as Beano,
Dandy, Adventure Comics, etc.
Combined stock fields - Price or discount percent
You can combine 2 different stock fields, for example "4.5" 4/10 Good and
"5.0" 5/10 Very good into a single stock field for sets.
Good £10
Very good £15
When you use a combined stock field where merging sets to eBay actions, you
can select "LOWEST AVAILABLE", "BALANCED" or "HIGHEST AVAILABLE".
Most will just go for balanced, so you could put a balanced price of £12.50,
which is half way between the two source stock fields.
If you are using automatic pricing, and the automatic prices generated as
still:
Good £10
Very good £15
With automatic pricing, you can choose a percentage to apply to the price
difference. So the difference in price is £5. By default, the
price different percents are:
Lowest availbale: 25%
Balanced:
50%
Highest available 75%
So these would be applied to the price difference of £3:
Lowest availbale: £1.25
£10 + £1.25 = £11.25
Balanced:
£2.50
£10 + £2.50 = £12.50
Highest available £3.75
£10 + £3.75 = £13.75
Don't forget that if you have say 3 of each item, and a user bought
balanced, you could give them the best of the good, or the worst of the very
good.
