Help home

NOTE - This is a STOCK system feature of the Jumble Saler STOCK and COMICS edition.  You can test the stock system them in the Jumble Saler FREE edition, but you will not be able to publish your auctions with them.

Adding or editing product groups or categories

If you have a lot of product records in Jumble Saler, then this allows you to split into convenient categories.  If selling DVD's then the categories may be:

DVDs Sci-Fi
DVDs Kids
DVDs Comedies
Box Sets

and with items like comics, these will be different types such as Beano, Dandy, Adventure Comics, etc.

Additional boxes for Comics, magazines and newspapers

You can optionally fill these in if you sell comics or magazines.

Product grades

You can choose to use different fields in the stock system to record how many of each quality you have for a specific product.  You can use the same concept on other products, such as books:

New
Like New
Very good
Good
Acceptable

and each stock level can have it's own price.  If you have ever listed a book on eBay, you will be familar with these types of grades.

This then customised the grids and records in the Stock System.   Product grid with different prices and stock quanities for each product grade:

Mail merge options

Mail merge group - When you mail merge stock to eBay auctions, then you can use different templates for different product groups.  This allows you to group product groups together for use use with templates.  For example, if you were selling comics and DVD's, you might have different picture and description templates for DVD's which shows your DVD packaging and another one for comics which shows that you post in board backed envelopes to fully protect items sent.

If you do use a mail merge group, then you can specify the group name and brand name to be put on the individual auctions when mail merged.
